About the Speaker - Chris Bird, CFP
Chris Bird, CFP is a tax expert and national lecturer
on individual and corporate income taxes, and real estate issues. His
background includes 16 years of experience as an IRS agent, in Springfield,
Illinois, where he served as a field agent, branch manager, and training
director. He is also a faculty member of the REALTOR® Institute programs
of Missouri, Illinois, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming.
Chris is a Certified Financial Planner, and held an Enrolled Agent Card for more than twenty years. He has been a major contributor to the University of Illinois Farm Income Tax School Manual, and an instructor at their seminars held throughout the state of Illinois.
He has presented tax courses before thousands of CPA’s, attorneys and enrolled practitioners groups for many years. He is also a frequent speaker for Professional Tax and Accounting Associations nationwide. Chris has taken and passed the EA exam eleven times while teaching the EA preparation course in prior years.
